General Information
ALUEXPO 2009 – 1st Aluminium Technologies, Machinery and Products Trade Fair, held on 15-18 October 2009 in Istanbul Expo Center, gathered local and international aluminium products buyers, producers, importers, exporters, architects and engineers, project managers, company managers, government officials and publishers in the most important aluminium fair in Eurasia.

ALUEXPO 2009, with 201 exhibitors from 21 countries and 6092 m2 net stand area, was visited by sector professionals both local and from all around the world.

ALUEXPO 2009 was also the host of the 4th Aluminium Symposium, organized by TALSAD – Turkish Aluminium Industrialists’ Association, TUBITAK MRC – The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey Marmara Research Center and UCTEA Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers. 600 delegates participated and 50 papers were published in the 14 sessions of the symposium.

ALUEXPO 2009 was supported by TALSAD, TMMOB CME and KOSGEB – Ministry of Industry and Trade Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization.

91% of the exhibitors rated the fair as “very successful” and 95% rated both the quantity and quality of visitors as “very good”.
