ALUEXPO 2009 was organized by Hannover-Messe Ankiros in co-operation with the leading national associations, TALSAD-Turkish Aluminium Industrialist Association, UCTEA Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers.
The event has established itself as an ideal platform for aluminum industry in the Turkey.
Attracting a wide range of visitors and selected professionals from the Aluminium Industry, ALUEXPO 2009 at Istanbul Expo Center, closed with a result of 9,229 trade visitors from 51 countries obtained detailed information about innovations and the latest developments from 201 international exhibitors. 7.5 percent of the visitors at ALUEXPO 2009 arrived from countries other than Turkey.
As for exhibitors, 201 companies from 21 nations exhibited in ALUEXPO 2009. Of all those exhibitors at ALUEXPO, 35% were from countries other than Turkey, led by German, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, American, British, Indian, French companies.
The event received praise for its networking opportunities. Exhibitors consistently mentioned the “high quality of visitors.”
The exhibitors were extremely pleased with their participation and reported promising business contacts and contracts. Based on the positive result of their participation, many companies have already reserved their stand space for 2011 event.
The 4th Aluminium Symposium run concurrently with ALUEXPO 2009. It provided an ideal opportunity to network with colleagues, associations and provided an opportunity for a comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in aluminium industry.
Hannover-Messe Ankiros announced to organize ALUEXPO 2011 between the dates of 13-16 October 2011. The significant figures in the number of visitors and great demand of aluminium companies to exhibit in ALUEXPO has led to a decision to hold the next edition on three halls; Hall 9-10-11 in Istanbul Expo Center.
